JDM by definition means Japanese Domestic Market, in other words means a car MADE IN JAPAN FROM JAPAN. None of these cars are JDM only actual Japanese cars are JDM. I'm definitely no expert, and I'm new to this concept but that seems pretty dangerous.ĭon't understand having to suffer through the horrible ride and having to worry about bottoming out just for appearance irl. the skinnier the sidewall and the more you try and close that gap with your suspension the more slammed its going to look and be, vs a fatter tire and a drop to match to cover that tire gap, your frame aint gonna get closer to the ground as the dude with the skinnier tires. so if you had a stock car that had 60 sidewall tires then dropped to a 50, you can bet the front of the car will also be 2 inch lower cause its sitting on less rubber. you're dropping your car down about an inch each time you drop a size from 55, 50, to 45 because of the skinnier tire. if you have stock wheels that have like a 60 series sidewall then cut down to a 45 series or something of that nature, given the width of the tire stays the same. trust me one number up or down on the sidewall or width makes the greatest difference. Tires do play an important role in "slamming" because you obviously wanna adjust your coilovers or bags, whatevers enough to tuck the tire, cover the wheel, whatever.
